A Year in 40 Seconds

Two years ago, a videographer called eirikso posted a time-lapse video he had made of his backyard over the course of a year.  He went into detail about how he used bracketed RAW files to make HDR images and then align them with Photoshop.

I was impressed with his first video but his most recent has me questioning how I make time-lapse.  The above was shot using video clips that were blended together in order to show motion instead of using photos.  Eirikso offers a video tutorial that explains how he compiled the thirty second clips into one video.  I’d like to see how this would work over the course of a day instead of a year.

I’ll be presenting another time-lapse made from videos soon.
